ABORTION PROCEDURES

FIRST TRIMESTER

Medical Abortion: Abortion Pills

This procedure usually requires two pills. The first pill cuts off progesterone to the growing baby, essentially starving him/her to death. The second pill causes labor to start so the baby’s body and other pregnancy tissues can be expelled.

Surgical Abortion: Aspiration dilatation and curettage (D&C)

This procedure involves the cervix being forced open big enough to allow a suction catheter to be inserted into the uterus. The baby’s body is then suctioned apart. Any remaining body parts or pregnancy tissue will be scraped out.

The baby does not receive any pain medication.

SECOND TRIMESTER

Surgical Abortion: Dilation and Evacuation (D&E)

The cervix will be dilated using laminaria. The abortionist will then use tools to rip the baby’s body parts off, and crush his/her skull. Any remaining pieces will be scraped out of the uterus using tools.

The baby does not receive any pain medication.

THIRD TRIMESTER

Induction Abortion: Injection and Stillbirth

The baby will be given a lethal injection through the mother’s abdomen. She will then be given labor-inducing drugs so she can deliver the dead body.

The baby does not receive any pain medication.

THE LAW

Canada is the only democracy in the world that does not have an abortion law, allowing abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy.

In the U.S.A., abortion laws vary state by state, but there is no state that has yet made it illegal.

Just because something is legal, doesn’t mean it’s right. Both the Holocaust and the Slave Trade were legal. Abortion is the human rights violation of our time.
