Hear how we've made an impact this year in Canada as well as internationally, and have the opportunity to support our Canada-wide campaign sure to make a splash in 2019!
Kira Fondse
Kira is a storyteller through music and theatre from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is currently completing a Bachelor degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Manitoba, and performs in musicals, operas and concerts in her spare time. Kira dreams of bringing joy to people in Canada and around the world through the sharing of stories, art and culture, and wants to empower young people to do the same. Recent performances include The Dream Catchers National Tour (Confederation Centre of the Arts), A Little Night Music (Dry Cold Productions), and Anne of Green Gables (Steinbach Arts Council). Kira is seeking ways to help speak out for those whose voices cannot be heard, and she is honoured to be a part of CHOICE42’s upcoming fundraising event. The line that continues to linger in her memory from her first musical production, Seussical The Musical, gently reminds that, “A person’s a person, no matter how small.”
