"My wife was conceived in 1973 with the rape of a 12 year old orphan, Gail, by her 23 year old first cousin, who was married and had children and a pregnant wife. When Gail reported the rape to the relatives, she was told she was a liar, and the pregnancy the result of promiscuity. The broken girl was told that if she continued to "blame" her cousin, she would be homeless. Abortion had just become legal, and social workers arrived to take Gail to Washington DC, to the nearest abortion clinic. Gail fought back, refusing to go. Gail was told she had no choice but to give the child for adoption, so she never even held the baby girl. The baby was adopted a few days later, and given the name Diana. With the claims of promiscuity, Gail was forced to wear an IUD, which led to a hysterectomy at age 17, so she never had children.

Diana grew up, eventually re-connecting with Gail, who was filled with thanksgiving that God had given her a child. In 2016 the cousin who had denied the rape for 40 years was convicted and given a sentence of 40 years prison, based on the DNA evidence from my beautiful wife, Diana.

We have five children together, and know that God used specially selected DNA to create her and the children, and that the power of the sin was broken by the blood of Jesus. She forgives her biological father for abandoning and denying her, and we pray for him and for Gail to know the true freedom and joy Diana experiences." - James
